Adding ESX host to vCenter : QueryConnectionInfo Failed

While at a client, I received a really weird error while trying to add a brand new ESXi server to VirtualCenter.  I was working on a fresh built workstation and was adding a new ESXi server.

After a quick Google search, I came across Duncan’s post detailing the issue and solution.

Adding the correct DNS suffix to the vCenter server allowed me to add the ESXi to the host without issue.
