EMC VxRail Deployment Screens
Recently had the opportunity to roll out a new VxRail deployment so I wanted to capture some of the set up and deployment screens. For the VxRail, most of the configuration can be configured in a nice little JSON file and then used to deploy everything cleanly. I liked the ability to just edit in all the information on the JSON text file. Made for an easy way to deploy in a consistent manner.
The JSON file was used to prepopulate the wizard with all the information necessary for the client including IPs, names and VLANs. All the information was pre-populated but I was also able to override the file via the screens which was nice. If you made any changes to the information, there was also an opportunity to save and download the newly changed settings.
Once the deployment was complete, the ESX hosts and VSAN were deployed and configured.
Once the VxRail was deployed, I then deployed ESRS via button click and was finished.
